Introduction
This book will sample a range of opinion, rooted in practice and informed by theory, on the meaning of “accountability” as it applies to white anti-racists and the work they do. In particular, the book will look at how white-led, white populated and white-identified activist groups have responded to calls that they be accountable to people of color in the struggle for racial justice and healing. It is intended to be a resource in regard to models, best practices, and historical and contemporary perspectives on accountability and white anti-racist practice.
